The Church Hill Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1978 and currently has a membership of 12 volunteers.

The Department is located in the northern sector of Rusk County and mutual aids with the Tatum, Eastside and Henderson Fire Departments.

 

The Department houses 4 vehicles – 2 pumper/engines, a brush truck and a water tender. They have 2 certified fire fighters and several working toward fire fighter I and II certifications.

They hold an annual Hunter's Education class at the department through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

 

The Department is located at 8500 FM 1251E in Henderson, Texas and is a registered non-profit 501©3 organization. They can be contacted via email at churchhillvfd@gmail.com.
